Athlete Evaluation · Parent Questions

Understand the Diamond Ranking.

Clear answers about verified performance, athlete profiles, and recruiting expectations.

Who decides an athlete’s Diamond Ranking?

HERS365 uses the G5 evaluation model and multiple verified data points: high school performance, combine results, tournament competition, showcase performance, and profile readiness. Rankings reflect the verified information available at the time of evaluation.

Can a payment or Premium membership improve a ranking?

No. Event fees, Premium memberships, sponsorships, and donations do not increase an athlete’s ranking. Recognition is earned through verified athletic performance.

Do followers, likes, or one highlight video determine a ranking?

No. Social media popularity is not a ranking category. Film may support an evaluation, but one highlight does not replace the broader record of verified performance.

What if statistics are incorrect or a performance is missing?

Submitted information is reviewed before it receives verified credit. Families can request a review of missing or incorrect information and provide supporting evidence. Contact the Diamond Bowl team for review instructions for event results.

Can rankings change as an athlete develops?

Yes. New verified performances can change an evaluation as an athlete develops. A ranking reflects the information available at that time and does not define an athlete’s future.

Must an athlete attend HERS365 events to be evaluated?

No. The G5 considers high school performance and performances from approved verified combines, tournaments, and showcases. Families choose the events that fit their athlete; attending the Diamond Bowl does not purchase a higher ranking.

Does a ranking or recruiting profile guarantee a scholarship?

No. Rankings and organized profiles are evaluation tools. College coaches make recruiting decisions using academics, film, athletic ability, character, and program fit. Event participation does not guarantee an offer, admission, or scholarship.

Is a free HERS365 profile the same as Diamond Bowl registration?

No. Creating an athlete profile does not reserve or pay for a Diamond Bowl place. Diamond Bowl registration is a separate event purchase and includes a complimentary HERS365 membership with Premium subscription. Contact event support for activation instructions.

Can parents help with an athlete profile and update it later?

Yes. Parents or coaches can help an athlete complete the intake information. Highlights and statistics can be added as they become available, and the athlete’s information can grow with her development.
